Web Social Media Editor

Job Description:

My client is currently undergoing a massive new incentive. As a result they urgently require a Web / Social Media Editor to join them.

Responsibilities:

Develop on site and other digital editorial content (email, desktop applications, social media tools, aggregated content, mobile, kiosk, MS Surface) to drive returning users, enhance SEO and distribute content outside of website

Define digital editorial and social content strategies and manage these.

Work with the web and digital team to ensure quality and relevant copy through digital channels.

· Take Editorial Control of Site Content ensuring accuracy and quality

· Manage & Update Web Content

· Define and champion Digital Customer Messaging – mobile, email, web, social tools, desktop tools, kiosk, other

· Develop Digital Editorial Content

· Enhance content through digital channels

· Drive social media strategies to increase visitors to the site and overall conversions

· Source, commission and develop copy for the digital channels

· Manage content distribution strategies outside of the site with key partners and the wider network

· Develop FAQs & Customer Support Areas

· Online Internal Search

· Become companys expert in digital copy and best practice social media marketing

Skills, qualifications and experience:

· Degree educated – ideally in creative/editorial/journalism field

· Proven track record developing and managi JS
